Passive Aggresive Pea Eater

Tonight, Hannah suggested we feed baby some sweet peas from our dinner. Now that she is over six months, she is able to start experimenting with tastes and textures other than breast milk. We took some organic peas (frozen), microwaved them, blended them smooth and attempted to feed them to Eva. She had a funny reaction. At first, she acted like she didn't know what was going on. After swallowing the first tiny bites, she held her mouth open and refused to shut it--thus letting the peas pour out of her mouth with the saliva. She has other ways she shows "passive resistance." She had us laughing and laughing. It was as if she was telling us, "you can shove it in but you can't make me eat it!"
Isn't the color gorgeous! The taste was sweet and very smooth.FISH FACE. (This mouth open approach is in every picture).
I froze the left overs in an ice cube tray and will pop out and heat individual servings to try this again...and again. Web definition for Passive Aggressive includes this definition:Pertaining to behavior in which feelings of aggression are expressed in passive ways as, for example, by stubbornness, sullenness, procrastination, or intentional inefficiency.
