Rebekah and Jonathan remembered to put out Egg Nog, Christmas cookies and caramel popcorn for Santa... the carrots are a snack for the reindeer.
This year we celebrated Christmas Eve with the Clayton Family. We began in the afternoon with an activity coloring games and activity pages (thanks Melissa). We then moved on to an elegant feast with Artichoke and spinach dips and chips, green fruit salad, cranberry jello salad, strawberry and cream jello salad, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, spiral ham, rolls, and apple juice. Dessert was Amy's Chocolate Trifle! After dinner we had a very brief Christmas Nativity program (Luke 2 and Matthew 2) with Joy to the World and The First Noel on Bells led by Amy Bonham and preformed by the grandchildren. Last, we exchanged family Pixie presents and said our goodbyes. Children wore their new Christmas Eve pajamas to bed. The girls were tickled that their cats Huckleberry and Morgana were curled up and sleeping so peacefully tonight.
