BYU President's Christmas Party

This morning we drove over to Brigham Young University for their annual Christmas Party. This includes a visit with Santa, crafts for children, games, doughnuts and punch and a lot of chaos, lines, and patience. The children lined up for crafts first: Hannah made a jingle bell bracelet Rebekah made a Cookie Counter to Christmas Jonathan made a star ornament Susannah made a pink purse frame Santa popped in to the craft area to say a jolly hello. We walked right over to his line...and waited two and a half hours. In the meantime, Joe and most of the children visited the games booths, got refreshments, watched the various choirs and dancing groups and got out their wiggles before joining me in line.
Jonathan was grateful for the stroller while waiting in the long Santa Line.
Susie tolerated Santa...if only to want to tell him that she really would like the Disney Princess Piano. Also, we stood right by her the whole time. At the Crafts store, we bought some real Mistletoe to hang and all had a good time. Whew!

That sounds fun! I didn't know they do that. We'll have to try it next year. What a fun Ward Christmas party too!
