Our children and their cousins ran around wildly today. Susie hit a wall and cut her head open. We tried the "tie knots with hair" over the wound not very sucessfully. We called Grandpa who suggested we put gauze on it and wrap it in with an ace bandage to reduce swelling and keep the cut together. This bandage slipped off oh at least a half dozen times before we got smart and hair pinned it in place.
This is Susie telling me not to take pictures because she looks goofy and people will think she actually looks this way.
The next morning, around 5:30 she came in our room and Joe helped her remove the bandage and fall back asleep. When we brought her to the doctors' to get her skin glued together her blood had scabbed over and "nature had helped her to heal without stitches!"

Oh no!!! Poor Susie!!! I'm glad she didn't have to get stitches! She looks beautiful, even with a bandage on her head ;)
