Ever since we moved into the "house next door" from where I grew up (June 2000), Joe has hated the Master bathroom tub. It is truly a museum piece. It is a small 32 " tub which has molded arm rests and was jetted.
So, when we used to fill the tubs for a bath, rusty colored yuck oozed out of the jets turning the water pinkish brown. Joe deactivated the system and covered the jets with tile
pieces but we could not
comfortably fit in the tub, especially with a small child (as often one wants to when parents have crammed themselves in opposite sides).
Late nights have been spent emptying bath room and bedroom alike for a remodel--all for a tub. (See the new tub. It is an
Endevor III...the largest one we could fit in the small space opened up for it).

Looks a great new tub! Hopefully you will be able to enjoy it soon!
It is going to look amazing when it is all done. I bet it's hard to be out of your room for awhile. Can't wait to see the progress.
What an ambitious project! It looks intimidating.
