After a grueling last final leg of her journey here, Daryna, our Ukrainian Exchange Student is finally here! (Flight due at 12:30 p.m.,her flight got in at 9:50 p.m. tonight!)
Daryna's patience was tested on the last leg of her journey! Airplane trouble. Missed connecting flights. Skipped for stand by flight. Next flight turned back! Bad weather in Salt Lake made it difficult to land. The plane from Denver circled and headed back to Denver to refuel and try again to land two hours later.

The younger children waited up late to meet, greet, and hug Daryna when we got home at almost midnight!

She fell right asleep and then was up bright and early around 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Daryna asked me for a plate. "Bigger!" I bought her a small plater and it was large enough. Daryna brought us a HUGE plate of Ukrainian candy.
