Stick to A Task

Stick to a task 'til it sticks to you;
Beginners are many, but enders are few.
honor, power, place and praise
Will come, in time, to the person who stays.
Stick to your task 'til it sticks to you;
Bend at it sweat at it, smile at it, too.
For out of the bend and the sweat and the smile
Will come life’s victories, after awhile.


My mother, a thespian Red Devil from Springville High, used to quote this to us-while we did our chores.   LDS President Monson often is heard quoting the beginning of this but I really like the last several sentences.  Hope YOU do too!
