Fifth Grade had it's annual Colonial Days today. Students learned games like Cat's Cradle (with yarn), learn social dances of the time period, a one room school house experience with the principal as teacher, to tie quilts at a Quilting Bee, carve soap, and listened to Colonial Stories while they ate ginger bread cookies and apple cider refreshments.
