Happy Fifth Birthday, Princess Eva

Birthday girl requested "balloons that float."

Also, she requested a "cheese burger and chocolate milk" Happy Meal lunch with Liam and Mama.

Susie gave Eva a special birthday box with gum and sparkly clip-on earrings. Little Guy is stealing the show!

Grandpa Clayton bought a long present! (Curtain rod for new bedroom drapes)

Jonathan loves Eva too!

Grandma Clayton bought an LED wand, and box of Rainy Day Box of Fun.

Whimsical Phillips Luminaires for new children's bedrooms.

Susie and Jonathan bought and decorated Eva's cake.

Rebekah drew her a picture to color, sparkly balls and foreign candies.

Hannah bought Frozen dolls home from Ballroom tour of Disneyland.
Most of all a fun day remembering Eva's special birth and give years with our little fun lady!

Water Tanning (Bathing Beauties)

I was working at my desk when I overheard Susannah (8) and Eva (almost 5) in the Master Bath tub talking.  (In my mind I can see Susie's legs stretched out in front of her taking a lot of space in the extra large, "soaker" tub.)

"Susie, there's no sun in here!  You can't tan."
"There's light in here and where there's light--you can tan.
Actually...I'm water tanning!  MOST people water tan(!)"

I need more time to water tan, apparently!

Terrific Two Today!

Liam had a great day today!  He played at Tapps.  Susie, Jonathan, and Eva wrapped his presents. Mom picked up a carrot, chocolate, red velvet, German chocolate cake and blue raspberry mini cupcakes and we threw on spaghetti and maranara, veggies, and green salad and invited Grandparents to Family Night.

Who needs lunch? Masks are fun-er

Eva was setting the table after preschool for lunch when Liam insisted upon "draw(ing)!"

(Note how he us using the other end of the pencil.)

Eva wanted a mask like mama's!
This is mama's happy mask and pink hair.
This is mama's angry mask. When I roar, the children laugh!  Go figure!  Mama is funny.

Markers after the pencil. (Pencil marks Liam's forehead and nose!)

A mini chicken miracle!

We have documented evidence!  Liam is just shy of two and had and ate chicken nuggets. His first (without crying).

Crazy Hair/Backwards Day

Woke up and my second grade lady had done her hair for Red Ribbon Week: Crazy Hair Day!

Brother wore his sweater backwards. (His hair is always "crazy" these days!)

A Chameleon's Colors

Sixth Grade son painted this at school. He is growing up and learning about his true nature and colors.
